Love the new website. I was just here a couple of weeks ago and it is a whole new world. We are looking forward to being there in February for a couple of days. By the way I love the comments from the Manager on Trip Advisor from reviews that previous guests have left. That is how we know we are coming to the right place with personal touch like that. Buenas Dias! Your new website is looking great! Can’t wait to see it when it is all finished! We will be there in January and since we just got more snow here in New Mexico, we are soooooo looking forward to the the warmth of old Mexico! Happy New Year!
Oh, and we agree with Heather about how you answer the Tripadvisor comments!

Just booked the first week in February for my wife and me. It has warmed up to -10 F. right now in Minnesota and we are looking forward to thawing out. I think the Fusion will be the perfect spot to start our Yucatan vacation!

I just came back from a trip to Holland and we had a white X-mas for the first time in 26 years!!
It was beautiful but I am also very glad to be back to the Caribbean climate!
Great to hear that you like our new website.
And it is also great to hear that you appreciate the reply`s that we give on Tripadvisor. We will also keep doing this in 2010!

Hi. My wife and I are coming down in June to celebrate a friend’s destination wedding. We are starting the vacation at Fusion on a Saturday and meeting up with the rest of the wedding guests/party at an all inclusive resort Sunday. I read your reviews on trip advisor and couldn’t resist booking for our first night stay. Does your hotel offer transfers from the Cancun airport? Just trying to plan ahead to make our vacation as relaxing as possible. We are extremely excited to stay here!

The view from the room you booked is really amazing!
Yes, we do offer transportation from and to the airport (even if you return from a different destination).
Roundtrip transportation:
1 person – 60 USD
2 persons – 85 USD
3 persons – 100 USD
4 persons – 125 USD (this is a regular sedan car so make sure all fo your luggage will fit)
5 – 10 pax: please ask us for the special rates.

Gracias Kim! What do I need to do to book transportation? Thanks for posting the rates. This will be our second trip to Playa. Our original honeymoon was canceled due to Hurricane Dean. (2007) However, we got to visit the next summer. We are excited to come back and enjoy the beautiful beaches and atmosphere!

Love the new website and will read the blog everyday until we return to Fusion on February 8th. It will be out third visit; we just love your hotel. Great ambience and the staff both day and night are the best. Hopefully our breakfasts will include the lovely morning music as you had last year.

@Mickey: Just arrived to work and the sea is beautiful. After a few days of clouds the sun is coming out again!
But the besides the cold I have to say that seeing a whole place covered in snow is very beautiful too.

We love the new website – wish we were counting down to our next visit but we guarantee we can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Playa than at the Fusion – Till the next visit this website will have to satisfy our need to be at the Fusion -

The beach is a lot bigger! They have been working really hard this week and today they are taking away the big pipes that were placed on the beach.
Hopefully we can access the beach again today or tomorrow!
We will post some pictures here when it is done so you can see how it looks like.

HEY KIM, AWESOME WEBSITE.JUST WANTED TO SAY THANKS TO THE ENTIRE STAFF AT FUSION, EVERYONE WAS GREAT. I HAD A BALL. A SPECIAL THANKS TO KIM FOR FINDING ME A ROOM WHEN I HAD NO RESERVATION. CAN U ASSIST ME WITH A EXTENDED STAY (1 OR 2 MONTHS)IN THE FUTURE?

It seems that we too will have only pictures to look at until we can return to the sun and sand…..
Our stay at Fusion (Jan 17 – 28) was the best time we’ve had in our many trips to the Playa del Carmen area!! All thanks to the fabulous Fusion staff – and that awesome new beach.
